Irish alt-rockers Fangclub have shared the official music video for their new single “Natural,” coinciding with the release of their new EP, all good. The EP features five tracks, including their recent comeback singles “Attention” and “Out Of My Head.”
Speaking about "Natural," Fangclub vocalist Steven King describes the track as:
“Natural, is a spoon full of sugar. There’s an underlying manic energy to it but it’s sweetened by a kind of dreamy Beatles style melody in parts.”
The EP all good, described by King as a response to people's inquiries about his well-being, marks Fangclub’s first collection of new music in five years. Their last release, the critically acclaimed album Vulture Culture, came out in 2019. With all good, King returned to his roots as a songwriter, creating music that’s both instinctual and innovative, pushing the band forward in fascinating new ways.
Recorded at Station Studios in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, alongside producer Alex Loring and mastered by two-time Grammy winner Guy Massey, all good reflects a period of creative freedom for Fangclub. King mentions that the process was “an exercise in just being a band again,” with no deadlines or pressures. This unhindered approach has allowed Fangclub to evolve, transforming their sound into a more potent force. The new EP is now available on all platforms.
Hailing from Dublin, Fangclub have maintained a DIY ethos that has been pivotal in their career. Their self-titled debut album, praised by The Irish Times as “one of the best hard rock albums of the year,” was released in 2017 and charted at #5 in the official Irish album chart. Following this, they released Vulture Culture in 2019, toured globally, and played alongside legends such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, and Kings of Leon, establishing themselves as one of Europe’s most exciting new rock bands.
