Manchester Punk Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2025 with banging first-wave announcement

Manchester Punk Festival (MPF) is set to mark its 10th anniversary in 2025 with an epic celebration, and they’ve just dropped the first wave of bands for the event. Taking place from 18-20 April 2025, across multiple city centre venues in Manchester, this year's festival promises to be one for the ages.

Leading the charge in the initial lineup are The Menzingers, the much-loved American punk rockers known for their anthemic, heartfelt sound. Joining them are Strung Out, the California-based band famous for their technical and melodic punk style. Fans can also look forward to performances by Canadian punk legends Belvedere, gritty post-hardcore outfit Single Mothers, and rising UK stars Fast Blood.

MPF 2025 will take over Manchester’s city centre, with performances spread across several iconic venues, including The Union, Gorilla, and The Bread Shed. Alongside the music, the festival will feature comedy, poetry, live podcasts, and after-parties, making it a comprehensive celebration of punk culture.

The festival's 10th anniversary celebration is set to be monumental, with over 100 bands scheduled to perform. In addition to the impressive lineup of bands, MPF will also feature comedy acts, poetry readings, live podcasts, and after-parties, ensuring that there's something for everyone to enjoy.
